Offline Robot Programming
There are many different ways to program robots. Often this is done by using the teaching method. In this technique, the robot is maneuvered into different positions which then are stored. This is very time-consuming and during the entire process the robot is occupied and not available for production.
SoftART provides software which allows even unexperienced personnel to program robots. Within these tools, all movements of the robot are simulated and visualized in 3D. Collision detection and optimization of paths are also supported. After programming, optimization and checking of the drive paths the program can be copied to the robot. Thereby the robot is occupied only for a very short moment and can thereafter then fulfill its designated task.
Please find examples of the described applications in the section Offline Robot Programming.
