SoftART Zürich AG is the operator of the website www.softart.ch. We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this data protection declaration.
Our website can usually be used without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (e.g. name, address or email address) is collected on our website, this is always done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. This data is partially passed on to third parties in accordance with this data protection declaration. In the following we will inform you about the handling of your personal data.

Log files of the hosting provider (Hostpoint AG)

So that Hostpoint AG can provide its services reliably, technically flawlessly and in compliance with the law, its servers create so-called log files. These contain information such as:

  • Protocol information such as protocol type, version, the desired action, status codes or information on the transferred data
  • Error messages
  • Browser used (user agent string)
  • Page from which the visitor reached the website

The information is used, among other things, to understand and solve technical problems, to find man-made errors, to ward off attacks on our infrastructure, to support post-mortem analyzes on hacked customer websites or to generate visitor statistics for websites.
The data remains on Hostpoint AG’s systems until the operational necessity no longer applies and the statutory or contractual deadlines have expired and are then automatically deleted. For most dates, this is a maximum of six months.


SSL encryption

This site uses SSL encryption for reasons of security and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as the inquiries that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http: //” to “https: //” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
When SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.


Contact form

If you send us inquiries using the contact form, your details from the inquiry form (company, name, email, website, comment) including your IP address will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the request and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.


Google Analytics

For statistical reasons, this website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. (“Google”). The information about your use of this website (including your IP address) saved in the cookie saved for this purpose (see section “Cookies”) is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and saved there. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for the website operator and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. Under no circumstances will Google associate your IP address with other Google data. You can with the use of a Browser add-ons prevent Google Analytics from using your data. By using this website, you consent to the processing of the data collected about you by Google in the manner described above and for the purpose stated above.


YouTube

Our website uses plugins from YouTube, operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. If you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plug-in, a connection to the YouTube servers will be established. The YouTube server is informed which of our pages you have visited.
If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

Passing on the data to third parties

We only pass on your personal data if you have given your express consent, if there is a legal obligation to do so or if this is necessary to enforce our rights, in particular to enforce claims from a contractual relationship.

As of January 2024
